I do not know if there is one that is specified. However, the camera is attached with a magnetic and you can angle it, tilt it, rotate it, etc in the direction you want. So you may be able to put it lower than you think.

The recommended minimum mounting height for the Nest Cam with floodlight (wired) is 12 feet (3.6 meters) above the ground. At 12 feet, the motion sensor has a wider field of view and can effectively cover most points around your home.
