QuestionWhy hasn't "Hidden Network" been added as a feature? My neighbor is stealing my Wi-Fi despite my 25+ long character password. Also would like MEC address filtering so only my devices are recognized by the router.

- Answer First of all it does Support hidden feature. Second, you can always change the password and the network name. Third, there’s no way in the world. Your neighbor is so good as to hack the encryption and get the password unless you gave it to them. So I find this question a bit odd.

- Answer Nest Wifi works with most internet service provider, including Suddenlink internet. Nest Wifi replaces your current router. Keep in mind that the internet speed and reception depend on the modem and internet service provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). You can connect it directly to your modem with the Ethernet cable to set it up and broadcast your Wi-Fi network. QuestionCan I connect this via Wifi to my network but use the Ethernet connection for my VoIP? I have another nest router in themain room & I was looking to get a router that can connect via wifi to my main router, then connect the ethernet cable to my voip phone

- Answer not this device however they do have 4g and 5g router/modems 5g sim cards you can look for them online and amazon has them and you can google and will find other places to get them they are out there

QuestionI’m thinking about changing my WiFi to the nest mesh system from spectrum but I’m a little confused and could use some clarification. Do I still need spectrum in order to use the nest mesh? Also, is there a fee through nest/google like there cameras?

- Answer Not sure about spectrum or what that is, but for the nest mesh all you need is the router, the wireless access points (google wifi or nest wifi) and an internet connection coming from your ISP. There's no additional fee. It's just a router that gives you access to a more thorough wireless signal through the house. What you're buying is the ability to spread your wifi signal through a larger home area. There's no special usability with video like the camera that you need to pay extra for. Everything is controlled from an app on your phone.

QuestionI can not get any wired internet service to my home. I'm looking at doing a 5G Hotspot device. Will this be able to connect to that hotspot through its wifi signal then push that out to my mesh network of nest wifi devices?

- Answer Unfortunately, Nest Wifi requires broadband internet service from your preferred Internet Service Provider. It needs to be connected directly to your modem's WAN port to set it up. - Answer Mesh network is inside of your house. It has nothing to do with optimum. If one of the routers is connected to optimum, then the rest of the routers will get it. Mesh network is to extend the same Wi-Fi through large houses.

- Answer Yes, the product can connect to a COX modem. It does need to be hard wired. For any other additional points they do not need to be wired in, those will be wireless. This product does come with an ethernet cable to connect to the COX modem.

- Answer We recommend setting up Nest Wifi routers as your primary router directly connected to your modem. You may then add your remaining Nest Wifi routers as a child point to the primary router to build a Wi-FI mesh network, without the need of connecting them after your switch. If you still want to use your switch, you can connect it to your child points.

- Answer 3rd party routers are not compatible to form a Wi-Fi mesh together with Nest Wifi. You can only combine Nest Wifi and Google Wifi to create a Wi-Fi mesh. If you'd like to increase the Wi-Fi coverage and bandwidth speed, you can create a Nest Wifi mesh with the primary Nest Wifi router wired to your modem. If you have a modem/router combo, we recommend putting it in Bridge mode to avoid Double NAT as it may cause connectivity issues. - Answer If you’re looking to just replace the router, you will not need to touch the modem. Just disconnect the ATT router and but the nest one in. If you’re looking for extended range. Buy a 2 pack Nest router option for easier compatibility .

- Answer Yes, you can have 2 Nest Wifi router and create a mesh Wi-Fi system. After setting up one Nest Wifi router, you can add the 2nd one as a child point. For your 2nd question, yes, you can hard wire devices to the Nest Wifi router's ports.
