Can I stream Local Channels if I am using comcast for just internet? What and complicated is this device to just get rid of cable TV and watch Local channels and others like ION and USA? Also have New 50" Emerson TV is it very complicated to get hooked up?

No, this product will not stream local channels.

You can, but it's the same thing you will have to pay for a membership like sling or another app from TV that let's you watch TV. Will be a little tricky but you have there's a media player called KODI that you can download from the store and you can add the local channels but will never be the same as paying a subscription or just, BUY AN ANTENNA you are asking for local channels lol

No, this will not stream local channels on its own regardless of provider. This device is probably to much tech to handle if you are having trouble with your TV. Sorry.

You can't use the official apps if you have Comcast so you have to sideload the TV Go app and use a separate bluetooth keyboard and mouse to control that app. It also won't show up on the home screen and you can't use the remote that comes with it to control said app. Otherwise, it's easy to hook up just a simple HDMI and power cable.

I can answer about the TV, as long as you have an open HDMI slot then you can hook up easily. You will also need WIFI since this device has no ethernet port. I can't answer about your local channels.
