“Does Verizon add a monthly fee when you purchase a phone from Best Buy?”

• Nothing more than you'd pay if you bought the phone directly from Verizon. I bought my phone outright from Best Buy and only had to pay a $40 activation fee from Verizon. My monthly bill didn't change.

• Yes. If you do not pay for the phone outright they add the monthly installment for the phone to your bill each month (just like it would be if you purchased through Verizon).
