• Yes. You would want to set your current Modem/router combo into bridge mode which will disable it's routing capabilities. You would then connect your first Wifi point to the modem, and complete the setup process. You may need to reach out to your ISP for assistance with getting your current equipment into bridge mode. Each Wifi point is capable of up to 1500 square feet of coverage. Do keep in mind that this coverage can be impacted by your environment. Obstacles such as concrete walls and copper pipes can impact coverage.

• I turned off the integrated router on my Time Warner Cable modem and the Google Wifi to create a new network. I then used another Google Wifi router in a separate room to extend the wifi in my home.

• I have the SURFboard router-modem with the internal firewall enabled and it works fine with Google WiFi. I disabled the WiFi on the SURFboard router. After you connect the Google WiFi to your modem-router make sure you disconnect the modem from the power, wait for 1min, and then power it again. It could take up to 10 min for your modem-router to recognize your Google router.

• No, it only works with "mesh networking" devices. As of right now only in between Google wifi devices (since the first wifi will be the router and then connect to the other wifi) or will work with Google OnHub routers.
