• Numerous mounting options. Does your tripod have a separate "shoe" that would clip or clamp onto the GoPro? That's an easy option. On the other hand, you might need to pick up an adapter at a store or online. But it should not be a problem to mount it to a tripod.

• Yes and can be used on the soloshot as well I use it for my students at US Paraglding and when I fly the Green Eagle flying go kart. using them on a monfrotos single stick can be very handy see shot below taken that way. Come Ride the Sky

• Yes it can inside of its housing or using a cage housing (sold separately) and a tripod mount accessory.
