• Yes it does better with video 1080P than photos which is only 5MP.

• Yes, still photos, time lapse (5FPS), and burst photos. Camera supports 5MP images

• Action video is very good considering the pixels available. I used it for a mud challenge head mounted. Worked fantastically.
