yes, but eventually you will burn out the batter if you leave it charging all the time, it last about an hour and half if you record none stop. I would use it as a dam cam and when its running low plug it back in when its at its lowest. I love it how it automatically switches for you if you install it upside down.

I used mine on a offroad trip in southeast CA and ran the camera for hours straight plugged into my universal USB cigarette lighter plug to avoid battery life issues.
