• It has an aux in port, so you can connect an MP3 player with an audio cable. It also has RCA (red and white) outputs, so you could send the audio to any powered speakers.

• If you read my review, you see I use it as a dock for my MP3 player. I do see a jack for an RCA cable ( red and white) so I suppose you could add a speaker. This is something I wasn't interested in.
