Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later."Ground up" is a misnomer that only the devs can answer. As it is now, yes, its meant to charge full price for a high end game, require internet, and get you to spend many times that in dollars and time earning currency.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can pay if you aren't patient. You can earn 50+ cars by just playing the single player mode. You'll only NEED to buy 2 cars (including the initial one) to complete single player game and you should have enough credits to do that. My suggestion is don't buy any more until after the single player mode to make sure you don't buy a redundant car you'd get for free.
