QuestionWill this case fit the 7th generation? I know it fits the 6th because I used to have it but I'm not sure if the specs coordinate the same way.

- Answer Even though the box says 5th and 6th gen, this does fit the 7th gen. All three gens are the same size. I just got one for the 7th gen iPod I purchased, and it fits like a glove.

- Answer I have no experience with the Lifeproof case, but I will say that the Griffin, while a great case, does not come with a screen protector so keep that in mind.

QuestionA Best Buy employee opened a box for me so I could inspect the product, and I noticed it had a very toxic smell. Does the toxic smell remain or dissipate over time? And why does it smell so bad if this is supposedly made out of silicone?

- Answer It's most likely the desiccant the manufacturer puts in the box to discourage moisture.....you'll be fine.
