- Answer When the microwave finishes the time selected it will beep 3 times to alert you. If you do not open the door a reminder set of beeps will continue to alert you that the cooking time has ended.

- Answer No. Turning the dial selects "auto-cook" presets. In order to set a cook time you have to press a button like Express Cook and *then* turn the knob. Very unintuitive interface.
