The only difference I have found with the convection is that items, like cakes, cook more evenly with convection. I never had to adjust the temperature and the items certainly did not cook faster.

Or bake for the same length of time as the conventional Bake setting, but reduce the temperature by about 25 degrees or bake for a slightly shorter period of time and at a reduced temperature. Unit will not automatically convert the convection temperature.
