Q: Questionpower cordI see this has a rechargeable internal battery, how do you charge the battery? Also, does it come with an AC cord so you can power and leave plugged in all the time?

• A:Answer It comes with a AC cord to charge and go or you can use while its charging. There is an optional docking station you can purchase to leave on a desk or shelf for quick charge mounting.

Q: QuestionIs there any way to know that the speaker is in fact charging and to know when it is in fact fully charged?One would think that the speaker would have some kind of indicator light that indicated these. Maybe the manufacturer will provide these.

• A:Answer When the ONYX Studio 2 is charging with the power on, the power button will flash (1 sec interval), and would stop flashing when fully charged. Here are other Power LED indicators for the ONYX Studio 2: White, Constant: On/Sleep mode without Bluetooth device connected. White, Slow Flash: Standby mode. White, Double Quick Flash: Lower battery alert (<15%) in Operational / Standby mode.

Q: Questionshort battery time?i bought it last couple of days. I dont know if my unit is defective or it is the way it is but i can only use it for half an hour on battery with a close to max volume. any idea? should i return it for a different one?

• A:Answer I would return it if you fully charged it. If I recall it says it takes about 6 hours to fully charge. I charged mine for 8 prior to going fully wireless just to give that lithium battery some good saturation. Ran for over 4 hours at 70% volume. I haven't timed it for an accurate number - claims are 5ish in the specs.

• A:Answer No, you can only pair a device to (1) speaker at a time. HOWEVER, you can get a bluetooth receiver adapter and a 3.5mm splitter to connect (2) OS 2 speakers via auxillary input.

• A:Answer On paper, 10 meters or 33 feet for class 2 bluetooth range. Bluetooth v3.0 sends up to 24Mbit/s making it stream very fast. My personal experience was roughly 40 feet.

• A:Answer Because it was on sale for $149 on black Friday and it's well worth it. It's very convenient. I just carry it out to the pool patio, fire pit, garage while working, etc. Battery life is great and, of course, the sound quality is great, as you would expect from HK.

Q: QuestionI have an Onyx 2 and I wanted to plug it to my lg smart tv, but it works only with arc or optical audio out. Do i need to buy an adapator to convert optical audio out to 3.5 mm mini and connect it to the aux plug of the onyx 2?

Q: QuestionBox contents- clearly explained please as to how many units exactly!!Why are there so many different answers to this question and why are the answers always seemingly evading as to the exact physical presence of sound producing units that are completely separate from one another yet useable together as a surrounding theater style stereo system? Can somebody please just be more literal and ALSO specific as to explaining how many actual speakers that connect separately to provide the combined sound of the finished and completed end result? Even a simple picture of a freshly opened box that clearly allows a visual answer and no avoidance of clear facts.....
