- Answer Closed caption might be coming from the cable provider or TV itself. Using your cable TV remote and also trying your original TV remotes, press INFORMATION, and see what pops up on your screen, and then scroll down and see if you see a line that says CC.

QuestionI have a Harmony remote that has recently started giving me issues with shutting all the devices off. I have to hit the all off button at least 5 or six times before it works. All other functions work.

- Answer I too have an expensive (and now discontinued) Harmony remote. It is by far the worst remote I have ever owned. Absolutely useless. Geek Squad installed my surround system and I am very very disappointed! I will never allow Geek Squad to do any work in my house again.

If your goal is to control a song or video on the macbook, going to a TV maybe, I'd recommend purchasing the Apple remote for $19.99. - Answer Hi George. Thank you for your question! Harmony remotes really do need to be set up in the home. Even if we have the model numbers for the products in your home, it couldn't be fully set up in the store. We'd recommend setting up an in home appointment to get the new remote set up with your devices. QuestionSamsung tv purchased 2018 with 5 year warranty. Remote control not working, a new one is being sent. Does this need to be programmed, if so, will there be a charge?

If this is a Samsung TV remote replacement just like the original, there shouldn't be any programming needed. If you would like us to come out to assist in making sure everything is good to go, there would likely be a charge of $99. If you're a Total Tech Support member, the service would be $49 instead.
