• Hi Sally, thanks for your question! Only the retention lock should be trimmed on the thin-tubes. We offer small, medium, and large sizes of the thin-tubes if the default medium size is too long. Trimming the hollow part of the thin-tube will affect sound quality and may cause undesirable feedback.
