QuestionI just bought this TV a month ago and its and has never been used until last week it works fine for any application for 2-10 mins and then the picture goes all crazy with multi colored lines like vintage media player style does anyone know how to fix this

QuestionI just bought a Hisense 2018 model 65H8E. Is the operating system still Opera TV? I realized the browser does not support Flash. I tried to installed it through the browser, but does not seem to do anything after download, no installation.

- Answer Not sure about Amazon but Netflix does NOT stream in HD in the TV's built-in app. Chromecasts and Rokus that support HDR play HDR content on the TV OK.

QuestionThe resolution on the top left is showing 1920 x 1080p @ 60hz on cable/Netflix/amazon. Does this mean it is not showing me content in 4K? I know cable will mostly be upscaling. Can I change the resolution?

- Answer Your cable provider must support 4k video resolution, make sure it is plugged into the 60hz port which is hdmi 1 i think. With netflix you have to upgrade your subscription which is 4 tv's minimum with ultra hd and still only certain content is available in uhd. the t.v. automatically sets the resolution.

QuestionWill this tv work in Germany where the voltage and power frequency is different - 230 v 50 hz. Also will it be able to cope with PAL INPUT which I believe is there in Germay or would it be good only for online shows on netflix / amazon etc?

QuestionI bought some USB powered LED light strips and the USB ports will not power them. Is this TV capable of powering those lights? I tried all 3 USB ports. There is also a thin vertical blue line on the left side of my screen. Could this be related?

QuestionJust purchased the 50" 4k Hdr model. When I go into apps, there is not the Opera TV app option. I can't use the smart TV function as I pay for CBS all access and can't access it. Am missing something? Love the picture quality but Roku rules.

- Answer Short answer you will need a streaming device as the built in smart apps and app store are limited and are missing apps like CBS All Access, Hulu, etc..
