You can’t per Hisense customer service. I had the same problem and called this morning about it. Either turn on google assistant (which I don’t want to do either) or you’ll have to live with it. Really bad feature.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.What worked for me was to flip the manual switch under the tv to ON, then go to setting in the TV and turn the microphone to ON. The light should go off now. Now go ahead and switch it to off in in the setting and it should stay off. You can now also go to the TV to flip the manual switch to off. When TV looses power or does a complete reboot of the TV, you will need to go through these steps again. Normal turning it off and on with the remote should keep the settings. Hope this helps
