Ignore the black rubber plug behind the bucket for now. That's access to the water filter. On the right hand side of the unit (facing the front) you will find a small flap. Open it up and you'll find the garden hose connection behind it. See the user manual pages 9-10 for further information. Be sure the garden hose ends below the level of the connection to the dehumidifier, or it will not drain. And be sure to check that water filter every 3 months and clean it.
