Questionwhy must use in front of open window or door.?doesn't this work against what you are trying to do by letting hot air into the room?

- Answer Air coolers work best with cross ventilation from either an open door or window. Air Coolers are not recommended in areas of high humidity. These units operate best in dry climates.
