• The dehumidifier doesn't seem to shut off unless you use the Honeywell Air Comfort App. In the App, you can establish rules to turn on and turn off based on conditions. The app is intuitive; I have my dehumidifier set to turn on every four hours and turn off when it reaches desired humidity. I hope this helps.

• It doesn't power off when humidity level reached, but it stops dehumidifying/fan running when the set level reached and starts dehumidifying/fan running when humidity is 5% above set level.

• TK, can you please explain how you set the smart feature to turn off the device? And then again to turn back on? I’m not understanding how to set the conditions.

• Not without the app. In the main app page (smart icon) before selecting the dehumidifier you can schedule humidity levels to turn off below a specific humidity level (no fan). Then create a separate setting to turn on above a certain humidity. Hope this helps!
