No. Not without popping out the window case and replacing it with a plywood or Plexiglas. For the amount of cooling this unit does and the price it is, its not worth going to that much trouble. If you are going to remove the crank window to accommodate an upright air conditioner, in my opinion you would be better off installing a window unit since you lost the advantage of wheeling this from room to room, and upright air conditioners are not very efficient anyways.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.use plywood to replace cracked window use jug saw to make a hole then install the exhaust pip up
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not easily. These exhausts are intended to vent through normal casement windows that open in a standard window. You might be able to remove enough glass panes to accommodate the included equipment (and then fill in the gaps with some sort of insulation) if you're willing to keep the rest of the panes closed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We taped a screen to the open crank window. Then the window expansion piece fit in the inside. No bugs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Are you a DIY person? You will need to make up a sheet of 1/4" plywood, massonite, or etc. with a slot in it for the exhaust. Or, make an exhaust hole like you do for a dryer in your wall. If you are clever, maybe you can find a way to use the exhaust air to even dry your clothes; it is hot enough. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you may have to do some modifications to make it work on crank out windows, maybe some styrofoam or another filler to fil in the openings
