A:AnswerThese have washable filters that can be reused over and over. The machine has a light that comes on to let you know when the filter needs cleaned. I’ve had mine running non-stop for over a month and I haven’t had to clean it yet. There is an optional prefilter that can be replaced I think every 3 months or so but I don’t use it and don’t think it’s necessary.
