- Answer I do believe that this thermostat would work with your thermostat wiring, but you could contact Honeywell tech support to verify this.

QuestionI currently have 2 traditional round Honeywell Thermostats (Master & Slave) which control two zones (1st & 2nd floor). Can I use the RTH9585WF1004/U with this setup? Would I just replace the Master or would I need to replace both? Thank you

- Answer If your Wi-Fi is off, you will have to manually change the thermostat. You will not be able to connect to the thermostat with your mobile device if the thermostat is not connected to the internet. If the power surges or connection is temporarily lost, the thermostat will automatically reconnect. If your Wi-Fi shuts off permanently, the thermostat will not be able to connect to the network.

QuestionI would like to purchase this thermostat to install on my Mr. Heater Big Maxx heater for my garage. Some thermostats do net let you set the temp below 50 degrees. Can this thermostat be set to 40 degrees? I want to be able to set it below 50.

- Answer I can set the thermostat down to 40F for heating. Obviously I couldn't test the furnace at the moment but the thermostat appears to be able to handle that low temp.

- Answer Kezi, Tap settings, then tap the down arrow until preferences can be seen, tap preferences, then locate the backlight option. Under this option, you can choose the backlight setting in rest mode. Meaning, the screen will full bright when touched, and after a delay will tike out to your preset backlight setting Hope this helps!

- Answer You may end up buying and installing C Wire Adapter for Thermostats 24 Volt Transformer Compatible with Nest Honeywell Ecobee Emerson Sensi Smart Wifi Thermostat . And no its not to simple. Best buy won't tell you that nor Honeywell. Go to you tube and watch how to install it. If you already have 24v C wire the it should take you about 15 minutes max. If you don't about 1 to 3 hours
