The window isn't for draining liquid. The window is to vent the very hot air that exhausts out the back of the unit. If you don't vent the unit, you'll be heating your home with super hot air as fast you'll be trying to cool it. I guess you could do that, but I don't know how effective it would be. Good luck :)
