Q: i want to use unit in outdoor patio. which is covered by roof and drapes. How helpful will it be
A: I think it would be helpful as long as you have the unit blowing directly onto you. I use it inside my VERY hot home with vaulted ceilings and it doesn't really cool my room, but it keeps ME cool when I sit by it.
A: It's about 52 lbs.
Q: What's the lowest temperature you can set this to?
A: 64 degrees is the lowest setting.
A: The window isn't for draining liquid. The window is to vent the very hot air that exhausts out the back of the unit. If you don't vent the unit, you'll be heating your home with super hot air as fast you'll be trying to cool it. I guess you could do that, but I don't know how effective it would be. Good luck :)
