“WIll this work with a 2 red wire hook up (i.e. R and Rc)? I have several e nest thermostats and they are not compatible with 2 red wires and I had to get a 3rd generation nest for the one location with 2 red wires.”

This has connections for 2 red wires. There is a slide switch which I think works as a jumper if you only have 1 red wire. Slide the switch down to expose the terminal for the 2nd red wire.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My hvac only had 1 red wire. The manual that comes with the unit shows how to connect 2 red wires. The R or Rh wire goes into the R-terminal and the Rc wire goes into the Rc terminal. So yes it appears so. Hope this helps.
