“The "C" wire on my current setup has been hijacked by the AC system. The installer had converted the 5 wires coming off my furnace to a 4 wire cable the runs up to the current Thermostat. Will the adapter be able to work with this environment?”

• Yes. If your air handler/furnace has the c wire terminal the adapter is a simple solution. (If running a new thermostat wire is out of the question.)
