“We have a geothermal half unit with a propane back up furnace. Does this have the capability to switch to emergency heat and run the propane furnace and back to geo when heat is met in the house. We do not have smart phones either.”

The T5+ should only be installed in a geothermal heat pump with gas propane furnace application if a fossil fuel kit has been installed for your system.
