  • QuestionI’m looking for something that rids the smell of cigarettes Does this do the job? I know I have to have carbon filters for smoke

If you are looking to remove the smell of cigarettes, we would advise the A+ premium pre-filter with this unit, as it was made to help greatly reduce Odors and VOCs from the air, far more than the regular pre-filter will. However, this will only remove the odor from the air that passes through the unit, and will not remove the source of the odor.   • QuestionYes I just bought the honeywell true hepa 465sq. ft air purifier, before i bought it i noticed some of the reviews mentioned a chemical smell , I wanted to know if someone had this problem and did it clear up after awhile?

    • Answer Could be the smells in your house that your nose can't smell. But, the air purifier picks up the smells. Try changing out the filters in the unit.

  • QuestionHow quiet is this product? Can noise level be adjusted while sleeping?

    • Answer This is the first air purifier that I have, so I can't compare the noise level to another similar product. You can adjust the noise level as it has four settings and each have a different sound. The lowest setting is germ, the middle setting is for general cleaning and the highest is for allergens. The loudest is the turbo setting. Since this model can filter about 450 sq. ft. and if your bedroom is smaller than that, you can place the unit as far away as you can from where you sleep.
