There are some differences between bagged uprights versus bagless uprights. Namely speaking, the major differences are in cleanliness vs. convenience. A bagged upright, such as our Hoover WindTunnel T-Series Max Bagged Upright Vacuum (model#: UH30600) will offer a more secure cleaning process by trapping and locking any dust and particulates in an enclosed bag. However, in contrast our bagless uprights such as the PowerDrive Upright (model#: UH74205) provides more ease of use when needing to empty out a full vacuum compared to a bagged unit. Another point to keep in mind is that with bagless you will never have to purchase additional bags to continue to use the unit. Again, it is more personal preference and what your specific needs are.
