- Answer This computer is not good for music production: You would need more storage for your projects with 1TB being the norm for media production. Additionally, if your workflow calls for multiple displays, the USB-C port on this does not have the signaling rate required for displays via a dock. The HP Envy and Spectre series have more storage and the USB-C signaling rates for multiple displays, giving you more flexibility in the future.

- Answer It's already maxed out on RAM at 16 GB. 8TB is the maximum supported storage. Chipset-limited on RAM, the 8TB storage might be a Windows 11 limitation.

- Answer The GTX 1060 runs much faster than the Radeon 610M graphics chipset on this. The Radeon 610M is an on-die graphics processor that uses system memory, whereas the GTX 1060 is a dedicated card with its own video memory.

- Answer This is not equipped with software where you can set the charging limit: HP has hardware that tops off the battery at 100% and does not charge it any more.

- Answer Windows 11 Home can install the same software as Windows 11 Pro. Switching the laptop out of S mode will let you install any software you want. You can buy a upgrade to Pro if you need to though.
