- Answer The computer comes with a 30 day trial of McAfee LiveSafe. Windows 10 also has built in Windows Defender which can be activated. Depending on your usage of Office you may be able to use the Office Online software which allows you to use most of the features of Office 365.

- Answer There is decent power and performance in this laptop, though the storage capacity could definitely use a boost. We might recommend instead considering models of laptops with at least an i5 processor, 8-16G of memory, and at least 500G of storage space.

- Answer Thank you for taking the time to reach out. This DVD drive works excellently for all modern formats. It is a super muilti drive. Unfortunately I do not have the full specs on all the formats it will read and write but you should be able to handle all standard formats except for Blu-Ray.

QuestionI want to increase the 128SSD capabilities. 1 tech says don't change the SSD, but add a 1TB HDD because changing the SSD setup will slow down speed. 1 tech says add a 500SSD in the open slot and it will be fast and capable of more storage. Whose right?

- Answer They're both telling you the same thing: to add a second HDD or SSD (2.5" SATA) instead of upgrading the 128 GB M.2 SSD. This is because you don't have to migrate the OS that way, although you can replace the current SSD with a larger capacity if you're comfortable with the cloning process.

QuestionThis laptop is completely counterintuitive and difficult to use. The setup is a nightmare. I’m stuck in some areas of management. I can’t get past some areas. Won’t let me sign on intermittently. What is truly necessary to do?

- Answer So sorry to hear of your difficulties. I had the exact opposite experience. This was the easiest laptop to setup, especially with the voice commands. Maybe you should try the Geeksquad.

- Answer You may want more storage for all the game files, but this laptop has sufficient processing power and memory to manage Sims 2 and Sims 3!

- Answer Your power cord should not be getting hot, no. We recommend keeping an eye on it, and if it continues to be unusually/unnecessarily hot, then please reach out to our Tech Support team. As far as the 5G connection is concerned, this is reliant upon your home internet service; if your cable/internet plan does not even offer 5G, then it's nothing to be concerned about. The laptop's internet response is still largely dependent on what your general internet speed is, and does not impact how fast the computer is.

QuestionI just bought this computer (12/27/18) and the description indicates it has 128gb drive but the space that is showing available is only 77.5 gb of free space. Nothing has been added since the purchase. File used space does not add up to that used. Why?

- Answer Windows 10 does use some space for recovery media. I recommend opening the Disk management utility built into Windows 10 to view all of the available space. Be careful deleting things as it could cause an issue with booting.
