- Answer Thank you for the question. This laptop does not have an Intel processor. The HP 17-cp0700dx has a 6-core processor, the AMD Ryzen 5-5500U. (AMD and Intel are processor brands, and the Ryzen 5-5500U will undoubtedly meet your specifications - it has 6 cores instead of 4).
