- Answer Hello and thank you for your question. This HP 17.3" laptop does not have a built-in CD/DVD drive, but you can connect an external CD/DVD drive, external hard drive, and many other accessories and peripherals to this laptop.

- Answer To be clear, I'm asking about whether the hinge will allow the thing to lay 180-degrees flat. I'm not talking about swiveling or anything like that. Just, like, my MSI laptop lays flat, and I now I know how valuable that can be -- so I want to find out before I consider buying this for a family member.

- Answer The entire bottom of the laptop would need to be removed. Once removed, there are two DDR4 SO-DIMM slots. From there, you are on your own with mix and match.

- Answer Unfortunately, the USB-C port on this computer doesn't support video display. However, the HDMI port on the computer will allow you to display up to 4096 x 2304 at 60Hz, so you could connect two monitors with an HDMI splitter.

QuestionIs replacing the battery simple, or is this as problematic as upgrading the drive and RAM (something about which I see completely contradictory answers)?

- Answer Units like this one have a lithium-ion battery and it is considered non-upgradeable because of that. It is not recommended that anyone attempt to upgrade this unit or change the battery that is not a certified expert as tampering with that battery is dangerous. You can contact HP Support or Geek Squad if you are curious about upgrade options for the unit or if you would need the battery replaced. If you were to have Geek Squad do any upgrades, it would not void HP's warranty, but HP will not cover any new parts.

- Answer The computer meets the minimum graphic requirements for Fortnite and Roblox, but it doesn't meet the requirements for Rocket League or GTA 5
