• You can control all of the audio outputs from the sound settings in Windows 10. From there you can set your laptop as the default audio output.

• No, the monitor has no speaker option. Since HDMI is used to carry sound, often times computer will assume there is a speaker on the monitor so it will redirect sound to it. Just change the audio settings to output to your speakers.
