• It may be a little small for console gaming, and it doesn't have built in speakers. Otherwise refresh rate seems good for gaming

• Honestly, you can get a 1080p monitor for less than this. This has features like 75hz and amd free sync that a mere console cannot take advantage of. Plus it doesn't have built in speakera.
