“Is the felt pad on the base optional or removable? It's looks ugly, what is it for?”

• It's not removable. I don't recommend doing it. It's supposed to keep items on it without sliding off.

• The felt on mine is on top of base. Cheap looking...returning mine next week. No reason given why felt is on top of base.

• Thank you for the question. The pad on the bottom of the base is to avoid scratcing the surface upon which it sits. It also keeps the PC in place when adjusting the height or tilt.
