“I just purchased this computer and notice when it’s on you can hear a humming noise that constantly is going, like the fan is running or something. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it something I should be concerned with? Thank you in advance!”

The computer does have a fan to help keep the processor cool, so that is probably the noise that you're hearing. However, you can contact the HP support team so they can verify that it's not some issue that needs troubleshooting.
