- Answer The HP 56 Black Inkjet Print Cartridge (C6656AN) will print approximately 520 pages and the HP 57 Tri-color Inkjet Print Cartridge (C6657AN) will print approximately 500 pages. Page yields are for each cartridge individually and are tested on 8.5" x 11" paper with 5% page coverage (a normal document).

- Answer You need to check your manual or your all-in-one box. If you don't have those, you can probably find the specs for your AIO online. I use 56/57/58 cartridges for an HP psc 2175 AIO. It's always good to check the cartridges before you buy a printer or AIO. Some have a cheap price, but they make it up on the ink. Some may cost a little more, but offer cartridges with more ink in them. Salespeople at electronic and office supply stores can help with this. They often know from customers' complaints which ink cartridges don't last long.

QuestionWhy are they packaged togetherMy 1056 printer will take the 56 ink, but the 57 does not work in the printer. Why are 56 -57 and 21-22 packaged together when they are not both compatible 22 and 56, and maybe 58 work for the same machine. I have lost money on this pack!

- Answer 56 and 57 are not always packaged together. You can get a single, double or even triple 56 pack if you search around. I generally use two 56s (black) for each 57 (color) cartridge, so I don't always buy them together. You have to read your manual or the printer box to see what ink your printer takes. Best, Airie
