Ryzen (/ˈraɪzən/ RY-zən) is a brand of x86-64 microprocessors designed and marketed by Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) for desktop, mobile and embedded platforms based on the Zen microarchitecture and its successors. AMD is the largest competitor to Intel, and the Ryzen 3 is directly targeted against the Intel i3 Processor.
