Short answer YES. What I think you are referring to, is M.2, where the small card has a dedicated slot on the mobo. This is in fact how this pc has 256gb storage. A 256gb M.2 nvme solid state drive is installed as the main storage device of this pc already. A second M.2 ssd is not possible due to there being only one M.2 slot. However, a 2nd SATA ssd can be added, plugged into a traditional SATA slot and using a SATA cable. as well as a "PCIe ssd" which is a add on card that can be plugged into the PCIex16 slot, just like any video card would normally be installed
