1) Installing a discreet graphics card automatically disables the igp. 2) power supply is proprietary---it doesn't have standard connectors, and neither does the logic board. HP makes higher rated ones --they list them for the Envy, Pavilion, or Omen lines. Ask the Geek Squad if they fit the chassis.

Unfortuantely, it looks like a mini-atx power supply will not fit, and I'm not aware of a 600 watt power supply that will fit. You'll want to contact the HP support team to see what they would suggest.
