It's prewired (!) for a 3.5" HDD and a slimline optical. P/S and data cables in place. Have an 8TB Seagate in there now, runs nice..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has 3 SATA port and 2 SATA cables included. I attached 1 3.5" SATA HDD, 1 2.5" SATA SSD, and 1 SATA optical drive to it and they are all working.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought the system and yes, there are 2 SATA ports on the motherboard and also two spare power plugs. I was able to add a 8TB 3.5" HDD and another 1T 2.5" SDD Drive to increase my system storage by 9TB. Now looking to add another 8G of RAM and I would be all set. Sweet deal!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.there appear to be two sata ports shown in the article and phots in the link below Odd that only the bays are mentioned in the spec sheet. Logically the ports would be expected https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Adding-hard-drive-to-hp-ryzen-5-M01-F0024/td-p/7665477
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.logic board specs are listed in HP Support pages. might be more about optional drives, why don't you look for it? https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-desktop-pc-m01-f1000a/37921112/model/2100000352/product-info
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Looking at the HP website, it doesn't look like there's an existing SATA port. There are expansion slots so you might be able to add one that way. https://www.support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-desktop-pc-m01-f1000a/37921112/model/2100000352/document/c06945986
