You probably could swap in a 3700x, but I can't see why. You'd possibly gain maybe 10% speed improvement, (Both 8 core/16 threads at 3.6GHz) But lose the Radeon graphics. There is a PCI-e slot (which I have a 1050Ti in right now. Tight fit and maxing out the power supply.) but limited space and power. (The custom power supply is 180W.) Also, the BIOS is very basic, not many options for tuning.. it's a cheap box that works.. Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Renior only. My 3200g and 5600x won't work. On the 5600 I tried separate gpu and I am on latest bios.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The data from HP's site said this motherboard (Erica3) only support Renoir based Ryzen 4000 series with graphics. You may not have the microcode for older or newer Ryzen.
