No. You have to buy a separate CD writer/player. Didn't know this till after I got it home myself. First time I ever bought a tower that didn't have a built in CD player.

You will need to buy a DVD reader/ writer. It looks like it's got one but it does not and does not have provisions to install one inside the device.

This HP Desktop - M01-F1014 cannot read or write CDs. You can use an external USB CD/DVD drive.
