According to the Passmark benchmarks (google Passmark CPU benchmarks), this computer's CPU is almost identical benchmark-wise to an Intel Core I3 7100. I have the Intel Core I3 7100 in my desktop, and it is plenty fast for most uses (web surfing, word processing, reading emails, etc.), except maybe not for demanding gamers.

It is close to GHz as the I3 has around 3 GHZ and the Pentium gold has around 2.5 GHz Depends on which model you get. If you want to game it can run low-end games like Roblox. If you want to play Fortnite then you need to upgrade the system.
