No it does not. This is a physical dual core processor which uses hyperthreading to give it 4 logical cores(4-way processing). The mobile processors from Intel that have 4 physical cores will have the letter 'q' in the name such as the i7-4710hq. Depending on the tasks you are using this for the dual core processors are usually enough and tend to get better battery life than the quad cores do. Hopefully this helps.
