If you are going to be using thee laptop in a setting where you can plug it in constantly, go with what’s cheaper but if not then go with the smaller graphics card for day to day use. The rtx 3050 would eat your battery quickly. I have 2 laptops, 1 for graphics intensive work and 1 for day to day use. The graphics intense one is an HP Omen 15 with a 3060 and it runs out of battery within 2.5 hrs so it’s not practical for day to day use in college classrooms. That’s why it’s my “desktop” which I use for photo editing, engineering software, streaming videos and games. That’s why I have a second laptop “hp envy” for day to day use in the classroom because it will last the whole day without recharging.

A dedicated graphics card also requires more battery power to run along with the cooling system for it. The 0053dx uses the Intel Iris Xe, which is onboard and better suited for everyday tasks. Battery life is based on the power settings of the laptop and the Envy x360 line is rated for 13 hours and 15 minutes per charge.
