Hi can the memory be upgrade to 64gb for this laptop? null

I have 2, they can be upgraded to 48GB, 2x32Gb causes a freeze at boot, but 16+32gb in either bank works fine. No idea why they would do this, but bought the 8gb version intending to upgrade, and I tried multiple ram modules and got the same results in all bank combinations. I contacted HP support and they said only 16gb was supported, but the intel specs said 64gb was. So its clearly a HP bios issue, I've been running fine for a year with win 10 & win 11

Don't listen to the HP tech. The RAM, M.2 SSD, and the wifi chip are all user upgradable. The HP tech just wants you to purchase the more expensive model.

Have you tried the PNY memory? I got 32 GB 2x16 3200MH DDR4 DRAM CL22 SODIMM memory for this one and my 2022 version of the ENVY x360 and it works flawlessly.
